Free fall

It was great!

The first step is the most difficult. You're actually looking down at the clouds from the door of the tiny plane. After that, it's 50 seconds of intense free fall. The feeling is kind of like sticking your head out of the window of a car that is traveling at 100 miles per hour off the side of a cliff. It is extremely loud as the wind rushes past your ears.

You jump off at 13,500 ft. and, before you know it, you're at 6000 ft and it's time to pull the ripcord to open the chute. The chute opens and there's silence. Now you're falling so slowly that it feels like it'll take forever to reach the ground. It's a nice peaceful ride back down to earth.

I can't wait to do it again next spring!!!
